Dr. T. Venkat Vardhan, the Founder and Managing Director of DNA Entertainment Networks Private Limited, describes himself as a complete Bangalorean at heart, an engineer by education and a businessman - driven by passion! In all of his family, he perhaps surprised his grandfather the Late Shri. Kengal Hanumanthaiya, former Chief Minister of Karnataka, the most by his rather unorthodox and progressive career choice.

The seeds of this company were sown by his immense love for music and a deep desire to offer global scale international experiences to Indians. His sharp business acumen and inventiveness brought home the likes of Aerosmith, Scorpions, Metallica, Dire Straits, Beyoncé, Shakira, Yanni – International artists Indians only dreamt of! Not only did DNA break new ground as pioneers, but also anchored itself as one of India’s leading Events and Entertainment companies.

Dr. Vardhan’s next strategic move saw DNA foray into ‘Sportainment’ - managing large format sports properties like IPL, Pro Kabbadi, ISL amongst others. His foresight and vision has also expanded the company operations into Corporate and other special events. Throughout his leadership, he has emphasised on values like reliability, consistent quality delivery, equality, respect and teamwork which has earned DNA strong market reputation as well as built close strategic relationships with premier sporting associations like the BCCI, Hockey India and ICC.

Dr. Vardhan has previously served as the President of the Event Management Association of India (under FICCI) and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Jerusalem for his contributions towards Event Management and development of Rural Educational Institutions.
